K-Series ignite over lan

I seem to be have trouble finding the syntax to boot over lan/restore system from ignite server on my older K-Series boxes. Can it be done? I can 'push' the install from the ignite server just fine, but the client has to be up for that scenario. I want to launch from the PDC level.....?

It can be done although you may need to upgrade firmware AND this will only work from the built-in 10-Base-T port. Since you didn't bother to identify your K-box model , it's difficult to be specific. Also, if a firmware update is required and you seem to have a box w/o an OS, you will need to make a firmware update tape assuming you have a DAT drive (internal or external).
