Could I perform the make_recovery command while my applications are running?

The general recommendation is to shut down applications before creating a recovery archive but if you are sure that no open application files is located on vg00 it is possible to use "make_recovery" with applications running.

Solutionmake_recovery command is replaced by make_tape_recovery in latest Ignite-UX versions
Please ensure it for the newest ignite version
You can obtain the latest Ignite-ux version from
