Lan card unclaimed

Hello,

Here is the output of the ioscan -nfC command :

lan 0 4 btlan1 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN HP HP-PB 100 Base TX card

I suppose I don't have the good device files for that card (HP-PB 100 Base Tx Card).

Where can I find what are the good device files for that card ?

Thanks a lot.
Christophe.

I tried but...

Re: Lan card unclaimed

It seems there is no driver for the btlan1 HP-PB 100BT card in the kernel .

DO an lsdev to find out if the driver is in the kernel .

If not install the river form one of your application CD's . It will require a reboot

Re: Lan card unclaimed

Hi

Check which card is configured in your kernel

what /stand/vmunix | grep btlan

Have a look at the below link for configuration and trouble shooting for your lan cardHere are the notes from the techsolutions site

Re: Lan card unclaimed

Have you got J2759BA (HP-PB 100BaseT/900) installed ? This is for 11.x I think. If not get it install, it's in the Application CDs. I have a K-class (10.20) using a similar card and I noticed on that machine I had J2760AA (HP-PB 100BaseT) installed.
