Last login and disused accout checking?

Hi Gurus,
Could you please give some advice/command/script/tool to sort out all the accouts according their last login time sequence?
Or list all the users who have not logged in over 60 days and lock their accouts?

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

You might try the 'finger' or the 'w' command. Take a look at the coressponding man page.

With the command 'usermod' you can put a limit on the login period using th '-f' option. Anyway, take a look at all the options for this command. I'm aware that this might not completely solve your problem, but it might still help you a bit. At the moment I can't think of exactly what command will show you exactly the information you are seeking, but maybe it is among the commands I suggested.
