1. Date the patch was installed
2. Check if the patch is updated (without comparing with the available\latest patches in the web)

You can check swlog for the date or:
swlist -l product -l fileset | grep PHKL_23567
Check the file date.
You can check if it was superseded as follows:
cleanup -c 1
You can not commmit the patches.
Try cleanup -p 1
the man page contains other options.

1. check /var/adm/sw/swinstall.log for the date on which patches were installed.
2. you have compare the installed patches with the recent available (on the web)

installation date and time, depot etc) is stored in the
file "pfiles". For ex, to see these details for patch
PHCO_31643, look into the file:
/var/adm/sw/products/PHCO_31643/pfiles
