Does any body know what is the latest verion of SAMBA for the HP-UX 11 ?

The latest version of samba released is 3.0.
Not yet for production.

2.27 is the latest for production.

I grabbed Samba 2.2.7 about 10 days ago and put it into production with no trouble.

Though you can use Samba from the open source rule, CIFS/9000 is free, its in depot format and HP supports it.

HP does stay a couple of minor releases back from the latest and greatest, for quality assurance reasons.

I know in the opensource world, Samba 3 is either in beta or soon will be.
