I need to remove the auth method from my 11iv3 out from the box for a compliance reason. I was thinking of having the HP-UX using our Active Directory 2008 RC2.
What do I need and what are the step involve? I would like to test that with few users only at the beginning. I think with pam_user.conf I will be able to do that!
thanks

Re: ldap
First you need to have/install a LDAP client.
Then you need to configuret.
Never try this configuration.
Good luck.

Re: ldap
Try these

You should be configuring SSL with LDAP otherwise you would be sending passwords to AD in clear text. The instructions on page 49 use a certificate authority (CA) to generate the certificates. You should be able to use server based certificates instead.
