license upgrade

Hi

Stupid question - I should know this but...

I have an 11 install, 2 user - I will be buying unlimited

How do I upgrade my system

You do a swinstall of the license off of the CD applications bundle. I don't think that there are any requirements for loading that license any more.

Just an FYI. Remember that the LAN counts as one-license regardless of the number of connections on it.

Its on the applications CD you simply install it.

This product is available on the Application CDs which were supplied along with the OS. The product is locked with the CODEWORD. WHen you have purchased the Software, you would have got the Certificate where you will get Customer id and the HP Order number. You can go to licensing.hp.com website and obtain the Codeword for the product.

Mount the Application CD. The part number of this is listed along with the Codeword ( like out of 4 Cds which CD has got this product). Use swinstall to install the product. select Actions -->ann NEW codeword option which will allow you to see the "Unlimited USer Lic" product. Select this product and install the product. This installation will require Reboot of the system
