LIF Label
Hi,
Where does the LIF label for VXVM disk is stored.
may i know the starting and ending block.
and if i remove this block, then is there any other way to restore it back without using disk media.
Any help in vxvm maintenance mode ?
thanks,
amit

Re: LIF Label
Hi Robert,
thanks for the link,
excerpt from the link:
"The bootloader starts reading the stand file system at 1KB block 3168 instead of locating it from the LIF label"
So i guess it is possible to remove the LIF label(which i plan to do using dd) and still able to boot!
