Logins for JDBC connections
We have a few users set up that are used by several weblogic domains to create JDBC connections from our application servers to our live universe backend system.
The problem is our system default for the length of time an account can remain inactive is 60 days and this needs to remain in place because of rules/regulations. However, on these specific accounts we disabled this policy on the individual accounts because they are purely used to allow the JDBC connectivity but they do not seem to take any notice of this.
We can login into the backend system with the accounts and passwords without any issues. But when we try to deploy the JDBC connections from within the weblogic domains on the application servers it fails everytime, stating that the Remote user password has expired.
Does anyone have any experience of this and a way of getting round it without having to schedule in every 60 days a taks of un-trusting the system, then trusting it again.
Thanks

Re: Logins for JDBC connections
Shalom,
It sounds to me like you need to talk to the software vendor and get this patched. This does not look like something that can be hacked.
