Re: Looking for books
Books from Tom Kyte are always a great find.
Check out his website http://asktom.oracle.com/
He also features other authors that may have written about Oracle Intermedia.
Good Luck
Kim

Solution
Hi There,
I have worked wth Oracle 8.1.7.3 having InterMedia 3.4
I have gone through the Oracle notes and they helped me to understand the Intermedia setup and how it works. The books refered by other are very good, and going through the oracle notes helps to understand better.
1. To modify the database to configure for the InterMedia. This you can do with dbaassist.
2. Change listener.ora and tnsnames.ora to have the external procedures entry (EXTPROC) and the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set to the correct libraries.
3. Then have the entry utl_file_dir in the init.ora file to specify the output file path for the html.
4. Configure InterMedia on the application server and the application forms.
5. Programing part.
Refer to this http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_gui.startup in metalink for a whole set of notes and documents regarding InterMedia
