I was told that there exists a driver for a 4-port lan card that makes the hp server think that it only has 1 ip address..... Something about then you can have 4 "parallel" communication lines, but again, only 1 ip address. Other companies call this "teaming" Any idea if this does exist for HP-UX??? Thanks!

Solution
The software is called APA
That stands for Auto Port Agregation.
It is a paid add in to HP-UX to support the configuration.
You may be able to find a reseller for this software which is probably licensed per cpu at http://software.hp.com

Thank you a million times over!!!!!!!!! For some reason this has been a very hard question to get answered. We have been looking for this for about a month now, no one, except you seems to know ;-) This is exactly what I was looking for.
