LP Scheduler stopped running
Hi all,
I realize that the answer may very well be "It just happens from time to time", but an inquisitive mind (Not mine) wants to know why the lp scheduler stopped in the middle of the day for no apparent reason.
I was able to start it again and have not had any problem since. This occured last Tuesday (Maybe this scheduler is a democrat?)
I've checked the logs and see nothing obvious. We have 11.11 with the latest patches applied. any suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Ed

Re: LP Scheduler stopped running
Hi Ed,
Look at /var/adm/lp/ directory and see if there are any errors in the log files.

Re: LP Scheduler stopped running
Don't you get anything from log file?? May be you can try starting it (lpsched -v) and it will give you something.
Any file system problems?? FS full etc??
