lpstat : can't open putput queue file

When I do a lpstat or oether lp command, error message can't open output queue file. What went wrong? Please advise.

Restart your lp schedular:
# lpshut
# lpsched

If the problem persists there will be most likely a problem with the FIFO file. It could be also additional lpsched processes running. Kill them off.
Anyone for a Mutiny ?

I did start the scheduler and kill everything including reboot. Found HP Ditibution Printer .... checking fail during reboot.

My system is 9000/778 running 10.2. Thank you
