lsdev rng shows unknown
Hello, I have a HPUX 11.23 system with OS-Core.RNG-DKRN installed on it. The problem I have is the rng module is using an unknown driver instead of pseudo. This is causing issues for applications. How can I set this to pseudo?
Thanks in advance for your help.
[root@system]:/dev > uname -r
B.11.23
[root@system]:/dev > swlist -l fileset |grep -i random
OS-Core.RNG-DKRN B.11.23 HP-UX Strong Random Number Generator
# PHKL_31506 1.0 Kernel Random Number Generator patch
[root@system]:/dev > lsdev |grep rng
114 -1 rng unknown
[root@system]:/dev > ls -la /dev/*random
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 114 0x000000 Sep 11 13:23 /dev/random
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 114 0x000001 Sep 11 13:23 /dev/urandom
Thanks in advance for your help.
