LUN Limits - NFS Limits
We are running HP-UX 11.00 on a 9000/800. Would anyone know what the LUN Limit is, we've been told it is 32 HBA LUNs for this version of HP-UX, but I found a white paper that said it was higher http://docs.hp.com/en/7154/Max_LUN_whitepaper_v11.23.pdf
Am I just misreading the white paper?

Re: LUN Limits - NFS Limits
The WhitePaper is correct.
For 11.0,
You can have 512 LUNs per HBA (non-HA/Cluster). This is actually more than necessary with todays cache-centric arrays unless you're using Hitachi based arrays like the XP series.
See the white paper for the other limits...

Re: LUN Limits - NFS Limits
OK Great, thanks Nelson. I'm starting to believe this was a limit imposed by IBM for the DS4500 SAN (which I believe has raised it's limit), just trying to verify that.
