i got warning while i increasing lv size colud u please gide, it is critical error,
h1: / #>lvextend -L 273448 /dev/vgGIP/lvGIP.data1

Hi Mukkala,
No it is not a critical error, just a notification that your volume has been extended to 273472 MB instead of 273448 MB ( look at the PE size of your lvol with lvdisplay -v)
Imagine PE size = 32
273448 / 32 = 8545,25 <-- not possible
273472 / 32 = 8546 <-- next possible PE size
