LVM messages

Hello
in one of my HP 9000 A class server
in syslog i am getting lvlnboot -v vg00 message is appearing . system is still working fine. the message can be ignored safely ?

Hello,

I don't worry. It mean that a lvlnboot -v was invoked on your system.
May someone, or some batch use a lvlnboot to control if the vg00 is safe.

Yes, ALL lvlnboot commands are logged, even harmless ones.

Its true lvlnboot -v messages wont harm the system. But to diagnose more this messages could appear if you take a make_recovery or check your scripts (cron) if its appearing everytime at same time.

These messages are informational messages.

it just prints the infomation regarding the root,boot,swap and dump volumes.

When you either use SAM to check the volumes or use command line these messages are displayed.

check the man pages of lvlmboot.

Hi!
lvlmboot -v is only informaton issue of
this command. It depend of message of course, but if system working properly, no reasons to trouble.
