Re: LVM: Recoverd Path error
You error messages are mixed up. Normally you get this message first
> vg (0) : pvnum = 0 (dev _t = 0 x 1f006000 is POWERFAILED
This means that the system can not see the disk
and then these messages
> LVM:Recovered Path (device 0 x 1f006000) to Pv 0 in VG 0
> LVM: Restored PV 0 to VG 0
These mean that the system found the disk.
Type "ll /dev/dsk" and look for a disk with minor number 006000. You can get the device file, probably c0t6d0. That's the disk that has the problem.
You can also do "vgdisplay -v" and find which volume group contains the disk.
The errors are probably either because the disk has intermittent failures or there is high I/O activity on the system or the disk is too busy. Sometimes you may have to apply disk and LVM patches. You may want to increase the timeout value for this disk with the command "pvchange -t 60 /dev/dsk/c06d0". This will increase the timeout to 60 seconds and it may reduce the number of these errors.

Re: LVM: Recoverd Path error
- MEM_PDT_TABLE_IS_FULL 3/3/2008
- MEM_DIMM_ERR_DEALLOCATED 3/3/2008
These 3 errors from March 3, point to a memory issue. Did you add any memory on this server? It may have failed or not be the right one. If you have all original memory, remove all the DIMMs and the then insert them back one by one to isolate which DIMM is bad.
