SolutionIf you truly mean the LVM version, you can't. LVM has a version designation of Version-1 up until the March 2008 release of 11.31 (11iv3), at which time Version-2 is released:
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5992-3385/ch01s04.html?btnNext=next%A0%BB
If you mean that you want to upgrade your overall operating system from 11.11 (11iv1) to 11.31 (11iv3) then see:
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5992-3364/index.html
Make sure that you hardware is supported and that you plan a cold-install. You cannot upgrade directly from 11.11 to 11.31. Read the above document in total.
Regards!

run this command
#swlist -l product|grep LVM

what is that mean? do you want to update LVM version 3 or LVM version which is used in 11iv3 OS?

Re: LVM Version . . .
I would say you are reading too much into it. The version that has "LVM B.11.11", just says this is the version for 11.11.
This doesn't seem to match with the versions JRF is talking about.
