LVM vs Verotas Volume Manger

Hi all
Can you pls give me the difference between lvm and vrtx vm
like
PV in lvm is called as what is veritas
vg=?
lv =?
pe = ?
wht is funda like

veritas is a very expencive solution but gives several advantages..

You can unstripe volums, you can in a RAC/OPS-environment add disk whith the cluster running.

You can loadbalance.

volumgroups will be called DG (disk-groups) and you will be using vxvm-filesystem.

In a cluster envirunment, you still have to use a vxfs volumgroup for the clusterlockdisk (at least you had to)..

LV is the same.

Hi I would like to the veritas disk stucture
like in lvm
PE is thr
vg is the we say say pool of disk
lv is our filesystem (partition)
like that wht is plex ,subdisk,volume,diskgroup etc
