Hi Subhashni,

lanscan will give you the mac address. There is one complication though, the lanscan command may say two lan ports with the same mac address. Refer to the link below,

lanscan -a command works with same machine, if want to find out mac address of remote machine, ping the machine with hostname then use arp command and grep it
like.. arp -a | grep ipp address of the machine

lanscan as all the others said but also lanadmin and landiag will give you it along with a whole lot of other useful information.
