In sendmail.cf file you need to change DS entry.
The entry would be,
DSexchange server name.
Restart the sendmail process to read the changes made.

Check the DS line in your sendmail.cf file (probably needs to be the same as your other unix servers).
Is your alias file working ok:
sendmail -bv recipient
if it's still failing, we may have to put some debugging on...

Normally it goes towards the top of the file before the ruleset definitions in the "local info" section, near where the sendmail.cw file is defined.
If you use the m4 method of creating the file, it *should* do it for you.
