I need the major differences between the 11v1 and 11v2 Versions
And What are the characteristics versions(11v1 and 11v2)
I want the comparison between them, In terms of everything.

Summary of important points.

1) Same end of life date. A bit curious.
2) v2 has more dynamic kernel variables, which can be changed without a reboot.
3) v2 will run on PA-RISC and Itanium hardware, as will v3. Note that PA-RISC systems may not be purchasable after December 31, 2008.

Does version 11v2 is supporting the vpar (virtual partition).
becuase I reading these features are not available in 11v2,
And I was in 4 partition of this to my server rp8420.

Yes. vPARs is supported on 11i V2.

i have a last 3 question, plz i need answer for them:
1-the oracle 9i is supported for 11v2
2-Do i need to reinstall the application of oracle or another application when upgraded to 11v2.
3-Do i need copy some files or directory before updating process.
