make_recovery for IPF servers

hello admins,

we maintain a Rx2600 itanium server.make_tape_recovery command does not create the bootable tape.It suggests that it can't be used for ipf servers.This defnitely sounds blasphemous.Is there any roundabouts.

I have tested Ignite/and make_tape_recovery/
on two IPF-like mashines hp-ux v11.23. It is
worked well. May be you need to see other reason?

Minimum Required for IPF is a B.5.xxx Version

Ronaldh is right, you need minimum B.5.xxx version of IUX. I also tested make_tape_recovery on 2 rx5670. It works fine. Further more, if you need to restore from tape in future, then you will have to boot from OS_containing_cd and not from tape anymore in IPF servers.
