make_recovery without tape device?

Can I use make_recovery tool without tape device. Is there any kind of option
in the Ignite tool make_recovery which makes recovery "tape" to the local disk?

you can use make_net_recovery

this is pretty nice as it uses a GUI front end to help
you.

if you haven't got make_net_recovery , get hold of the latest version of
Ignite/UX from the hp software site
