Re: MAKE RTECOVERY ON FILE

Hi Frederico,

I've got a feeling you are using a old version of Ignite, the make_recovery has been replaced by the make_tape_recovery command.

There are two other Ignite commands you could use.

Make_sys_image > will create a sysem image on the local disk.

Make_net_recovery > will create an image to an Ignite server.

Best regards,

Re: MAKE RTECOVERY ON FILE

Hi Federico,

You need to use the make_net_recovery command, that will make an ignite image and send it to a server that you specify. As I do not know your configuration I would suggest that you read the manual for the command so as you can customise to your liking.

A link to the latest manual (edition 28) is here:

An example of the command might look like this:

make_net_recovery -s -a : -d -x inc_entire=vg00

Mike
