make-tape-recovery

HI, this is easy points ...

If you reboot your system from a make-tape recovery tape, and it all comes up ok....What do I then need to do to make sure I am able to boot from the primary boot path in the future??

Thanks heaps for your info...

Re: make-tape-recovery

Hi Maria,

If you recovered the system using make_tape_recovery tape, you don't need to do anything as it will take care of setting the primary path. If you need to change the primary path, you will need to use 'seboot' command from the OS or set it at the 'BCH' or bootadmin prompt while the system boots.

Re: make-tape-recovery

The recovery process boots the system.

It lays down the image and then boots it again.

You already have booted off your primary path.

You are good to go.
