While running make_tape_recovery -Av
I am not getting messages and directly comes to the prompt without displaying any messages. Don't know what to do.
Need help in urgently

Check what is your tape drive - ioscan. If it is not the default use -a tape:

#make_tape_recovery -Av -a /dev/rmt/1mn

You should be root to use it of course.

I have checked by running the same but then also it is not running. Even if I am running only make_tape_recovery then also it is not displaying any message just coming back to the prompt.

What is you Ignite/UX version? Do you have same errors before?

I have found the solution, it was the problem of file.
