make_tape_recovery

I would just like to make SURE that we do NOT need to bring the database down before using make_tape_recovery.

As long as you are not backing up any DB files the DB can be up and running.

Hopefully all of your DB files are on a VG other than VG00.

Yes the data base is on a different volume group.
