Maximum File Size

I have a HPUX 11.0 64 bit system. What is the maximum file size I can have? Also, do any tuneable parameters or recent patches affect this?

As far as I know, the maximum file size in HP-UX 11 is 2 TB.

that would be 2^64=2 terrabyte

For HP-UX 11.00, the maximum file size that has been tested is 1Tb for VxFS filesystems. HFS is still limited to 128Gb.

HP-UX 10.20 is still limited to 128Gb for both.

ulimit can cause problems with this however.
