MC ServiceGuard Upgrade Question
To all,
We are in the process of upgrading ServiceGuard software in an existing cluster. We have failed over to say NODE H and wish to upgrade NodeA. When we try to upgrade, we get a message back stating "MC/SG((UNAVAILABLE EVENT PARAMETER$2)):
Cluster subagent started". What is the message saying?

Re: MC ServiceGuard Upgrade Question
I would use cmhaltnode on the node itself.
That should pull it out of the cluster and make it possible to do the upgrade without this message.
Is that what you did? I'm including some helpful programs from a SG class I recently took, as an attachment. mcsgstat is a good X program that helps in diagnosis.

Re: MC ServiceGuard Upgrade Question
Steven,
Our Senior HP-UX engineer did do the cmhaltnode on NODEA before doing the upgrade...
More to follow after we review the attached programs....
Thanks,
Chuck Ciesinski
