Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

Hi Rveri,

Interfaces which are configured as "HEARTBEAT_IP" in the ascii configuration file are heartbeat LANs.ASCII file generally put in the /etc/cmcluster folder of primary node.

Cheers!!

Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

Shalom rveri,

Any lancard can be configured as a heartbeat.

You need to check the configuration files of the cluster, commonly kept in /etc/cluster.

Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

are you asking how do you find out which card is using heartbeat?
use cmviewconf |more and look at the LANs listed, and see if they are marked as heartbeat

Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

Hi

Use cmviewconf command and check for the heart beat flag for networks.

Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

Hi ,

you can check with:

# cd /etc/cmcluster

check for the cluster ascii file.

# cat cmclconfig.ascii | grep HEATBEAT_IP

or you can do a vi to the ascii file to check the HEARTBEAT Interfaces.

Re: MCSG Heartbeat lan.

again,

you can do a more to the ascii file to check the HEARTBEAT Interfaces. more is better than vi, in this case.
