Memory allocation failure

Hi,

I have this messages at the syslog:

ftpd[14842]: Memory allocation failure
vmunix: Deferred swap reservation failure pid: 14681

I have a system L2000-36 with 4 GB of Memory Physical and 4GB swap.

Maybe I need to incresed the swap and decrese dbc_max_pct???

Thanks!
Carmen.

Re: Memory allocation failure

Well, you've definately run out of swap and your simplet appraach is to increase it. You might want to consider increasing physical RAM too.
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
