As i remember HP-UX keeps set of default conf files in a location. can any one provide me this location.
Or if i delete this file will it be created at the next boot.
please provide me the original ownership and rights to the netconf

the location is in /usr/newconfig/etc/rc.config.d directory.
you can find here a sample file of netconf.

NO on it wont be created when you reboot the machine. Probably your machine will not come on network if you deleted and restarted the server.
