Metrocluster tool kit
Hi All,
As part of a new continental cluster build, we are planning to use Metrocluster version A.09.00.
As per the release notes, one new parameter "SYMCLI_MODE" got added. Also it says that this parameter is not required to SET to in sedf.env file.
Please could anyone let me know what this parameter does.

Re: Metrocluster tool kit
It is documented on page 321 in an older version of the Designing Disaster Tolerant Solutions manual:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B7660-90016/B7660-90016.pdf
Btm of the page: "In order to use SymCLI version V.5.1.0 with Metrocluser/SRDF A.04.10
and later, a compatibility variable needs to be set in the SRDF
environment files. Add the following line to the environment file:
export SYMCLI_MODE=V50"
In current versions of Metrocluster, the Release Notes and "Designing ..." documentation instructs the admin to unset it.
