migrate vg00
My current VG has two 73GB PV. The problem is I recently just purchase a 146GB new disk. Due to the maximum PE set to 73GB I cannot add in the new disk to the existing vg. The problem is this server does not has any tape drive at all so I can do the ignite UX to re-setup the VG again.
I was thinking is there anyway that I can copy all the stuff from my current VG00 to the 146GB disk without Ignite in order overcome the maximum PE limit.

Re: migrate vg00
Either u have to arrange for an external tape drive & use ignite or create a different VG since for that disk...
Hope this helps

Re: migrate vg00
It is possible. You can use the un-official procedure for extending root/swap in your case also.. I'm attaching a document for the same. It's having official (through Ignite-Ux) & Un-Official ( Through Manual Copy of vg00).
Hope this will help you..
