Re: Mirror-UX license transfer from K to L class
Mirror UX is based upon codewords obtained from HP @ 1800-538-1733. The codeword is apart of the swinstall process and visable from the drop down menu during installation from a cd.

Re: Mirror-UX license transfer from K to L class
You should be able to do them online if you have the CD number, and the customer identifier number or HP order number.

Solution
We have had SW moved from one machine to another, and had the support moved to the new system handle. In your case, I think you're ok. The only issue is # of processors on the K-class compared to the L-class. Whoever you are buying the L-class from should be able to work that out for you. (Even if it's direct from HP, they have sales people also...) If you have a support contract, you should have a contact for the contracts. That person should also be able to help you transfer the license to the new machine.
Hope it helps
