Mirroring back hot swapped internal disks

Sorry for the previous blank post...

I have an internal /root disk that I have to hot swap. The disk is internal and mirrored on an L-Class. Once I'm done replacing, i'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the following approach would be sufficient:

vgcfgrestore -v /dev/vg00 /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0
vgchange -a y /dev/vg00
vgsync /dev/vg00

Hi,

Here is a link to a thread where the real experts discuss the steps for replacing and re-mirroring a root disk:

Re: Mirroring back hot swapped internal disks

You say this is a /root disk. The real question: Is the a BOOT disk. If so, then you really need to add the steps to make this a bootable disk to your list.

Check out this thread for some good information on how to do this.
