For those of you new to the forum Clay was founding member going back probably before 1998 date officially listed listed in his profile.
For years he battled first with James R. Ferguson (* don't call me JR *) and then with SEP for the one two spots of points awarded in the forum.
I would say that Clay did more to mentor me in HP-UX and probably many other forum members as well, since his answers were so dead on target correct so often.
If you look at Clay's ratio of points awarded to responses you'll see that Clay's is highest among any member, active or inactive, a more telling stat than any other in my opinion.
Many of us use to tell a favorite '...and then Clay said..." story still bookmarked because it was sooo classic in observation, solution and humor.
WHAT HAPPENED TO CLAY????

Re: Missing in Action - A Clay Stephenson
Well, the last post, which I happened across while looking for a ITRC answer shows that 1 1/3 years after we last heard from A. Clay here in ITRC, the name was registered in HP Connect website.
Same person? Hard to say, but the name is unique.
I did register at that site and send two messages. All attempts to email A Clay at his known email addresses have not received a reply.
I assume it would have been news had he shown up in Vegas for HP 2010.
So far, though the dog is hunting, it hasn't gotten the bird.
