Is there anything on HP-UX like mkfile on Solaris?

the equivalence on HP-UX is:
prealloc

Not sue what mkfile does on Solaris but on HP check out one of these for an equivalent command;

/usr/sbin/mknod (man mknod)
/usr/ccs/bin/make (man make)

Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
