I added a Model 12H to a K-Class that was upgraded from 10.20 to 11i. (fresh install) Check out the following messages. Any idea how I can fix the warning?
Starting VxVM daemon...
VxVM starting in boot mode...
NOTICE: vxvm:vxdmp; added disk array 0000000E94F0
datype= AUTORAID
WARNING: vxvm:vxdmp: UNLICENSED ARRAY S/N 0000000E94F0 installed
vxvm:vxconfigd: ERROR: enable failed: Volboot file not loaded
transactions are disabled.
vxvm:vxconfigd: FATAL ERROR: Rootdg cannot be imported during boot.
I guess these are related to the Veritas Volume Manager?
Do you know where I an get some info on this?
thanks

Re: Model 12H Warning Message
check and make sure that you do NOT use vxvm.
If you do not use it you can follow the steps below:
# touch /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/install-db
# shutdown -ry 0
That can happen if you use an image from a different box that uses vxvm.
