Modem Help

Hello,

I am trying to make a modem worked on E55 of hpux10.10 server and have problem on the 1st step. Though it is very bad to talk about 10.10, I hope someone just give me a hand if you could.

I can't do:

**********************************

Step 1. If you are configuring a modem to the single modem port on a Series 800 multi-function card, you need to ensure that the modem port is not locked.

Step 1. Execute a control-B on the console to get into command mode. This will give you a CM> prompt.
**********************************

Control-B would not work on my console and do not know why and how to make it work.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Modem Help

Steven,

On the back of the CPU, there is a multifunction I/O card. Place the toggle switch into the "service" mode and then the "ctrl b" should work fine.

HTH,
