More ignite problems..
Trying to install ignite 4.4.30 running 11.0. the previous version was 4.1.61. I thought i uninstalled the 4.1.61 before installing 4.4.30 but something in my log files says it may not have worked. I installed 4.4.30 and i get this message.
Error: fileset Ignite-UX.OBAM-run
Rev B.4.4.30 is different version than the rest of the ignite ux 4.1.61
you must update all filesets of the product to the same version for proper behavior
and then MR fails. NOW, i did swremove on 4.4.30 many times and re-installed using the "reinstall all files =true" options. i have rebooted but nothing seems to work. It keeps finding OBAM-RUN, MGMT_TOOLS, RECOVERY on the old version. EVen if i swremove all ignite, swlist can't find anything after doing the swremove. but i think the old version is there somewhere. What can i do.

Re: More ignite problems..
do a:
swlist -l bundle
and look for other ralated Ignite products. On one of my systems I have:
B5725AA B.4.4.30 HP-UX Installation Utilities (Ignite-UX)
B6192AA B.11.00.10 IUX-Recovery B.4.4.30 Ignite-UX network recovery tool subset
Ignite-UX-11-00 B.4.4.30 HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.00 Systems
MAke sure they are all the same rev. If not, update the ones that aren't.

Re: More ignite problems..
how would you update the ones that aren't? Not sure how you would update just specific files one at a time.

Re: More ignite problems..
Chris,
I had a similar problem... you MUST remove all vestiges of the old version before you can install the new version. That works best for me...
Be sure you have swremoved the old one first and the new one as well. Then swinstall the 4.4.30 version...
Also, do a find for your old ignte directories and mv them to /tmp if you have to.
They should be under /opt/ignite and /var/opt/ignite

Unix, the other white meat.
