more of 8 character in the login name

Hello.

I am trying make new user that your len was more longer the 8 chararcters but the system say me :
user xxxxx is invalid.
¿Do you known any solution?

only solution:

Don't use more than 8 characters!
HP-UX is not configured for longer logins!

We can not user more then 8 character's for the useradd command.

It is default setting's there. We can not change it out.

you can convert system to trusted (tsconvert)
and set Maximum Password Length more then 8.

login name cannot be more than 8 chars long
password can but only the first 8 chars are interpreted
