Mounting a users home directory on a Windows PC
I am wondering if it is possible to configure a users home directory on a hpux 11 server to also be available as a network directory on the users Windows PC?
Regards,
Aidan

Thanks for the help on this.
Is this complicated to configure? Does it come with an example config?

Any child on the streets of Starkville should be able to configure Samba.

Re: Mounting a users home directory on a Windows PC
Some other useful info related to CIFS/Samba configuration: SWAT is a web-based tool to allow you to modify the config. There's also a useful O'Reilly book - Using Samba.

Darren.

Re: Mounting a users home directory on a Windows PC
By default, it shares home dirs.
Easy to setup and configure.
