Mounting a windows shared folder from UP-UX
Hi,
I have an HP-UX (ver10.20) and i want to mount a windows shared folder to it.I found on Microsoft's web site a package called Services for Unix which syncronizes AD users with unix users and starts up NFS service on windows. But i don't trust microsoft on this.
Has anyone a suggestion about mounting windows shared folder from UP-UX
Thanks a lot.

Re: Mounting a windows shared folder from UP-UX
What you need is a CIFS client for hpux but I am not sure about product's availability for 10.20 as the page only lists the product for versions 11.x
Here is the product info page:

Re: Mounting a windows shared folder from UP-UX
Go ahead and use the MS Services for UNIX. It isn't a bad product. We use it to allow DBA's to mount CD's from their workstations, in order to apply patches to Oracle.
It works well.
