Mp3 or CD player

I would like to use the cd-rom of my B2000 workstation ( HP-UX 10-20) t play mp3 files or normal cd-audio.
What can I do? Must I configure in any special way this device?
Does anybody know how can I get one graphich player?

Hi,

For mp3 you could try mpg123. It's command line based, but I believe there are some GUI front ends available too. Not sure how good it is - I think I last tried it around 1999!

Executable (10.20, zipped with winzip 8.0). Run without parameters for help.

Real-time playback:
mpdecode1020 -r myfile.mp3 -s -c | /opt/audio/bin/send_sound -l16 -srate 44100 ???stereo

Wav file creation:
mpdecode1020 -w myfile.mp3

Note: WAV files can not be played in real-time mode
