What does this mean ? I've searched the internet for about 1/2 hour and just need a brief answer, (also HP tech knowledge base is down)

Richard,
NAT is an acronym for "Network Address Translation". This is done most typically to map an "internal" IP address to an "external" address, usually by a Firewall system/box. Many organziations use a 10.x.x.x style address for "internal" IP's and then conserve their Internet address space for their external boxes and Firewalls.
A NAT'ed address would be that address that has been translated from the "intenal" IP to an "external" one.
Here is a handy URL that you can use to look
up FAQ's for Firewall and Security terminology:
