Need CDE-Finnish file set

I need to install the CDE-Finnish file set for a HP server running HP-UX v1. Anyone know where I can get or download the files? Thx in advance.

Re: Need CDE-Finnish file set

I assume you mean HP-UX 11i v1, also known as 11.11 by non-marketroids?

Does the CDE-Finnish fileset even exist? If there was such a thing, I'd assume it could be found in the OS installation media kit... but at least the June 2004 media kit for 11.11 does not seem to have it.

Re: Need CDE-Finnish file set

Hi,
I believe this is normally done at installation time:
"Languages: Select the Languages... button to view CDE-languages bundles to be loaded. Global is set by default when installing on workstations, resulting in all available CDE-language bundles being installed. Global (Non-CDE) is set when installing on servers to indicate that a generic, CDE-language bundle will be installed. "

I too am looking for this set. The text based Finnish file set should already installed by default.

However the graphics character set in /opt/dt/palettes is not there. I have been working through HP CDE support, and they did not know of the file set and suggested I contact the HP sales rep. I have contacted her, and they are having trouble finding it as well.

I received a response back from the HP lab - here is the "official" solution

HP-UX does not provide translations for Finnish. However, HP-UX

You should also install the CDE bundle, assuming it is not installed.

By installing the base CDE bundle, you will get all relevant CDE components needed, including dtterm, other GUI elements, palettes/app-defaults, etc. that can be used
when the Finnish locale is set. Since no Finnish
localization/translations are provided
however, the pull-down menu text, etc. will be in English.
